Yea was recorded between 2008 and 2010 after only 3 Studio sessions with The Relevant Source. Around that time, Dextraw Studios was in Riviera Park Mafikeng SA. The Source was a teenager then and was also part of a Creative collective with his peers called Bloodfam. This was a group of really dope Mc's and all they used to do is freestlyle & write ill bars to battle each other and whoever thought they had something to spit. When Source visited the Studio, he never went through beat archives looking for a usable beat for verses he had. He'd just stand by the mic and drop these perfect 16's -32's- 64's on a metronome and go like 'yea'...that was his que to say am about to spit this verse or am done with that one. lol...Hence the project title.
I included versions of these verses on mixtapes before and even dropped another 'Yea' album version exclusively to MM3rd supporters as a free download in 2013. I only thought to remix, rearrange and compile the tracks once again into a project for you and yours just recently. Enjoy.
